Moon Markings

The moon is an old mirror

Making me dim and hazed

In its wraithful gaze

A corona more expensive for its

Delinquent shadows

Each subsequent millennium only scars

In mist more graceful

The moon is an old bowl

Making me dim and crazed

In its pitted gaze

That dear opalescent veneer

Fired long ago

Iridescent now and more elegant

For that ancestral indistinction

Interesting rhyming pattern. Anything to do with the moon is good in my book, as she is my ruling "planet"!
